Kids Crafty Clubs Philosophy

Expect T.L.C for your V.I.P at KCC

Our goal at KCC is to provide all children with a comfortable, creative, nurturing, and educational environment in which each child can develop at his or her individual pace.

We focus on play, social development, and ready for school in our beautiful indoor and outdoor environments.

We encourage good self-esteem and fun for our tamariki, both of which we believe are foundations of learning.

We aim to celebrate all cultures and value each child’s own identity.

Kaiako value every moment as an opportunity for learning, and through the freedom of play, each child is supported to thrive on their unique learning journey.

When a child is relaxed, learning becomes a natural part of their development.

We all look forward of being part of your

child’s journey at KCC.

KCC history

Kids Crafty Clubs was first established in 1988 as an OSCAR Program in the garage of my family home in Pakuranga catering for Afterschool & School Holiday programmes for 5 -10-year-old, until the family home was too small. We operated in various venues / schools – Anchorage Park Kindergarten / Pakuranga Community Hall /Wakaranga Primary School / Sunnyhill Primary School / Pakuranga Heights Primary / Pakuranga Hall / Buffalo Hall Howick until finally settling in our purpose building at 123 Vincent Street, Howick in 2017.

In 1995 Kids Crafty Clubs open their first Childcare Centre in Pakuranga Heights on the school grounds, built by my father we gained a license from the Ministry of Education for 40 children to attend. We operated for many happy years until we closed the centre in 2010.

In 2000 my husband and I decided to develop in Howick and turned our family home (now Phoenix House) into Kids Crafty Clubs Learning Centre. Our journey continued expanding to develop Tui House and 2016 Kowhai House was built.

My passion has always been the love and support for helping children through their journeys to develop into independent young adults for our future and offering families peace of mind knowing that your child is in safe and in capable hands.

I wish you all happiness in your family’s journey and if you do join our KCC family

Expect T.L.C for your V.I.P at KCC

Our commitment to your children

At KCC, we pride ourselves on our adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of our childcare services.

Explore what we have to offer, including a large learning centre, before/after school care and holiday programmes, and how we can contribute to your child's growth and development.

My son has gone to KCC for over a year and he absolutely loves it, the teachers are so caring and he loves going, he even wants to go on a Saturday. The administration staff are also super understanding especially helpful when dealing with changes in a relaxed and approachable manner. Could not recommend this business more.
